This year’s theme, We Are Family, reminds us that for 27 incredible years, friends, co-workers and the business community have joined as one, supported as one and acted as one to create an AIDS-Free Kansas City. When we participate in fundraising events, we are family. When we form teams and share fundraising pages, we are family. And yes, on April 25th when we lace up our sneakers and hit the streets to demonstrate that we remember those we have lost and fight for those whom we will not lose, We Are Family!
We hope you'll register today at www.aidswalkkansascity.org. Here you can register solo or join a team, craft your singular fundraising appeal and harness the power of email and social media to spread your message of support and hope. The site also provides an ongoing Calendar of Events, a thorough FAQ, Team and Walker updates, a download center and more. And remember, registration is always Free!
After 27 years, we are no more done with HIV/AIDS than HIV/AIDS is done with us. We need you more than ever. We need you to create a fundraising page, form or join a team, and persuade your family and friends to walk with us in remembrance, love and thanks for all we have and will accomplish!
Please join our Family as we create a footprint of hope and compassion one step at a time for those struggling with HIV/AIDS in our hometown. We look forward to seeing you on April 25th for AIDS WALK 2015!
