VERY elegant. Used to be the Ritz-Carlton. Great views from the rooms and bar area of the Plaza. Close (but not walking distance) to the bars. Nice restaurant (as well as three dozen restaurants with the Plaza area). You will have to pay a little more, but it is worth it.
