It was nice, Ken is very polite and offered to cook for us all weekend. I would recommend Ken's place to all my friends. It's in mid-town, so expect the usual inner-city noises as well as the wide range of neat/off-beat shops and eateries. What one should not expect is an effusive (or even friendly)welcome nor a particular interest in one's comfort. Ken seems nice enough, just "reserved" I guess. The monster dog, Duke, is a sweetie and likes to hang out on the front porch (great for getting coffee and paper ELSEWHERE and spending an hour enjoying the street scape). Bring your own soap if you don't want to keep asking for things (like a glass, like what's for breakfast--oh anything you want, I'll just walk over to the store and get it).
