Every year, KC PrideFest takes over Theis Park in Kansas City for a weekend to celebrate. Friday begins the Festival in the park with artists, organizations, and local businesses setting up booths around the park. At the center, the main stage is always a fun time with entertainers keeping the energy high throughout the day. The Parade takes place the next day, with floats and Drill performances being highlights of the march. It ends at Theis Park, where the second Festival day continues. The last day of the Fest is much calmer than Friday or Saturday, but people from the local community still set up their booths and keep spirits high to the day's end.
