Sidekick's Saloon

A few years ago, this was a great cowboy bar but as is the case with so many bars, the cowboys have moved on to "greener pastures" On weekends it is still busy.

I used to work as a bar-back at this business and the owner and all the staff were an absolute blast to work with. The crowd that patrons this bar are friendly, outgoing and as varied as the three drag queen friends of mine who performed here (hi Mandy, Onyx & Martina!). There was no cover charge to enter then, not sure about now and they do have nightly specials as well as specialty shows on certain nights so check the calendar. They are closed Mondays.

Such a fun place! Always a fun crowd, great drag show and drink specials. Sunday nights are the best and there is NEVER a cover! Check it out for a sure fun and safe time.

IT'S LIKE BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN MEETS COYOTE UGLY- WITHOUT ALL THE HOT CHICKS. BASICALLY EVERYBODY DANCES AND HAS A GOOD TIME. YOU CAN'T FIND A NICER, MORE INVITING BUNCH OF PEOPLE. MOSTLY WERE OLDER, BUT YOUNG PEOPLE WERE SPREAD THROUGHOUT. I'LL DEFINITELY GO BACK! OH! THE DRINKS ARE SUPER CHEAP TOO- $1.50 BEERS AND NO COVER! NICE!!

Great place to mingle with the cowboys! Saturday nights are teh Best. Come on out and be social.
