Tootsie's
If you're under age, I hear you'll be let in. This used to be a fun place to go about 10 years ago because it had some of the best dance music and was crazy busy. But I don't know anyone from back then that goes there now.
Tootsies is no longer a gay friendly bar
It is now a hip hop/rap breeder bar.....dont go and think you are going to find homos here.....i would rather stay at home then go to this place
Tootsie's in no longer a gay bar.
The past 3 times I've been to tootsies it has been full of straight people. Tootsie's is no longer a lesbian bar. I was there last Saturday and they had the nerve to charge a 5 dollar cover yet the place was empty besides 4 or 5 straight people who looked lost.
Beautifully Renovated Classy
I use to go to Tootsies back in the day and it was ok. The new owners have done wonders. It is so beautiful and classy. I went on a Saturday night and it was not crowed to my surprise. Maybe they should have some events or shows to draw in a crowd. The staff was a lot nicer than I remember and the music was still the best. Good place to visit especially if your from out of town. It has that big city club feel. It definitely is not just a Bar.Plenty of free parking which is good considering they are so close to the Power & Light District.
Fun Times
I was new to Kansas City and I went out on a Saturday night and just had a BLAST !! this is a nice club with good music... will be checking this place out on my next visit, which will be in a couple of weeks..
