2015 Spirit of Pride Award

Hamburger Mary's and Camp's 2015 Spirit of Pride honoree: Andy Chambers Camp and Hamburger Mary's have created the Spirit of Pride Award for people who we feel personify Pride -- living openly and fearlessly every day. We're proud this year to select Andy Chambers, the co-owner, with Alan Dunham, of the Wonderland store, 307-309 Westport Rd., Kansas City, Mo. Chambers has done makeup and styling for drag queens, actors, models and others. The covers of Camp have been graced by his work many times over the years, in collaborations with photographers Ann Brown, Dusti Cunningham, Shane Linden and others. Tickets for the event are $20 if purchased by Thursday, June 12. $25 after that date. Proceeds from the event go to the Andy's chosen charity, KC Passages. Besides the presentation of the award, many of those whom Andy has worked with over the years will be performing during the evening. A light fare buffet is included with the price of the ticket.
